GLITTER AND GLOW assumed control under a snug hold utilizing the inside post up top on the fence in the first turn, slowed the pace down considerably unopposed down the backstretch, had company outside at the quarter pole, disposed of the outside threat under a well rationed out ride having something left in reserve down the stretch drive by the furlong pole and comfortably cruised in for the wire-to-wire score when crossing the finish line. AFLEET FLATTER had the rail sitting in a good spot watching the lead twosome, was asked for more but the front duo was slipping away at the quarter pole, shifted to the three path posing no threat to the winner who had plenty left in the late going but did fight on stubbornly inside nad kept on to the wire to get up in the final few strides inside for the place share. PHAROAH'S AFFAIR sat just outside off the pacesetter, continued to be happy settling into a good rhythm outside the frontrunner not really forcing the pace down the backside with the tempo slowing down, was roused at the midpoint of the final bend coming with a smart rally, bid outside the winner at the quarter pole but was repelled by the furlong marker and weaken slightly in deep stretch being picked up by the determineded inside rival late for the runners up placing. WINNING AGENDA shared the back end on the inside through the initial bend, stalked at the tail end down the backstretch, started to come with a little burst inside of runners having the rail midway around the far turn, moved out to the four-path straightening for home and finished up evenly to be a fringe player in the end. MEET ME AT MIDNITE was well held sitting in midfield in the early going, offered little movement between foes along the backside, regressed on the final bend to be last at the five sixteenths pole but did show some grit to gain a placing coming back to pass a weary outside foe in the final furlong. ASHLEE B shared the rear on the outside in the first of two turns, moved up closer going three deep outside of runners down the back straightaway, could not make any gain on the front three while travelling three wide outside foes in the second bend, angled out widest in the six-path turning for home and folded in the final furlong.
