ARTEMUS CITYLIMITS was fleet footed getting an easy lead well in hand down the backstretch, had the rail leading a slim margin inside but moving very comfortably up top around the oval, stayed on the incorrect lead through the drive but it did not make a difference and pulled away impressively in the final furlong for the gate to wire tally. FORESTER'S FORTUNE had a stalking trip near the rear ahead of only one runner, began to pick up the bit on the rail when urged for more at the quarter pole, found his best stride late charging to the finish line and got up a few jumps before the wire to best the rest for the runners up position. SPLIT STRIKE chased the pacesetter down the backstretch, took closer order forcing the issue outside of the leader around the bend, could not match strdies with the winner at the head of the lane and faded slightly in the last eighth getting nabbed by the inside runner at the wire for the place share. SILENT RESERVE settled on the inside running in tandem with another tracking the lead twosome in the beginning, kept pace with the lead pair saving all the ground through the turn, scraped paint at the top of the stretch but could only finish up one paced in the late drive settling on the fringes in the end. CAUGHT SPEEDING was unhurried seeing the field along the backside, lagged behind the group throughout the turn, skimmed the fence turning for home and should a little interest passing an outside weary foe in the final furlong. ONE TRUE GENTLEMAN settled on the outside of another in the second flight early on, travelled two wide on the turn, was urged for more at the quarter pole offering little response and had little for the drive and folded in the last eighth of a mile.
