Footnotes
MAXINE MAGIC stalked near the rear going three wide on the first turn, moved up three deep down the backstretch lengthening stride smartly by the half, closed in three wide on the second bend at the quarter pole, battled outside getting a head in front from the stubborn leader at the furlong pole and edged clear for the win coming to the wire. DIXIE DOLL had a slim lead on the rail, continued to have a head in front inside slowing the tempo down along the backside, remained up top just off the fence at the quarter pole, had company bearing down on both sides in upper stretch still cling onto the lead, gave way on the front end drifting inwards switching back to the incorrect lead leaving the furlong pole and held safe for the place share on the rail at the finish line. TAKE CHANCES was brushed on the inside at the break, had the rail sitting in mid-division on the first turn, crept up the fence improving down the backside, waiting on the far turn drafting behind the leader, had to be throttle down slightly at the quarter pole keen to make a move, try to dart up the rail with a tight seam on the fence turning for home, had to steadied inside runners at the sixteenth pole losing all momentum and could not recover to threaten the front two at the finish line. POWAQA travelled three wide sharing the rear on the outside, made little change down the backstretch, started to come with a good rally circling foes three wide at the five sixteenths pole, swung out to the six path looming boldly at the top of the stretch and finished up mildly in the final furlong capturing only a minor placing in the end. SERENADING AMAYA co-trailed on the fence, made little movement along the backside on the fence, was roused for more at the quarter pole closing in slightly, angled out in the six path for the stretch run and showed some interest down the lane passing a few rivals inside in the drive. ECLIPTICAL LADYBUG had the rail watching the engaged trio, tracked the lead pair outside in the second flight along the back straight, was asked for more trying to hold position between runners with a quarter mile from home but weakened just off the fence in the last sixteenth. BLACK GODDESS broke out at the start, settled in midfield around the first bend, dropped back a touch with the filed bunching up down the backside at the half, took the short way through the second bend but could not make any headway, skimmed the fence turning for home but could not factor in the late running. SULTRY SOPHIE prompted the pace on the outside, continued to force the issue along the backside as well, was scrubbed on at the quarter pole but could not keep up to others making a run on the far turn and faltered in the four path at the top of the lane. RIDERS CLAIM OF FOUL #5 TAKE CHANCES AGAINST #3 DIXIE DOLL IN THE STRETCH AT THE SIXTEENTH POLE WAS DISALLOWED
