Footnotes
MAKER'S FLATTER stumbled into a rival at the start, gained forward position stalking three to four wide off the loose leader, advanced on that one through the far turn sweeping to the lead and taking command by the three-sixteenths, drew away. PROUDLY CANADIAN tucked in early racing about mid-pack mostly three to four wide, came out a bit in the stretch, kept on late to get up for second. KEYNOTE SPEAKER was bumped into a rival at the start but nevertheless still up close early, taken hold and rated in behind along the inside through the first turn, switched out off the rail up the backstretch advancing past a foe two to three deep, continued near the rail on the far turn moving out turning for home, ran on in the lane but was outfinished for the place. GELATO was bumped at the start, shifted in heading to the first turn racing off the pace and saving ground inside, edged closer while still saving ground through the far turn, altered out near the sixteenth pole for room and ran on. FIN DEL MUNDO was strongly urged from the start, moved clear and shifted in on the first turn, extended the advantage setting the pace far in front of the field up the backstretch, gradually weakened. BATTLE WARNING was bumped at the start, settled last but one, switched out for the run up the backstretch racing outside, went outside foes three to four deep on the far turn, was forced out a couple paths in mid-stretch and ran on. CAPSAICIN was forced out at the start, caught wide on the first turn then made an early advance outside four to five wide up the backstretch, was ridden to keep up three furlongs out but dropped back and faded. WU TANG KING broke a step slowly and steadied when in tight at the start, lacked early speed racing far back, advanced on the far turn, came out then altered back in through mid- to late-stretch facing mild traffic. BACK PRINCE came in at the start bumping a rival, was still able to get near the lead heading to the first turn, allowed a rival to go on with it and stalked on or just off the rail, was asked to keep pace entering the far turn but had no response and began to retreat, was not persevered with in the stretch and walked off.
