Footnotes
Z TRAIN (IRE) had the fence watching the lead duo in the beginning stages, sat isolated in midfield rating kindly down the backstretch, saved all the ground inching up through the last bend, pounced shifting out four wide in upper stretch and wore down the frontrunner by the sixteenth pole driving past outside to clear off for the win at the wire. KINZIE GIRL was bumped on the inside, advanced around horses to have the outright lead heading into the backstretch, rolled along up top uncontested under a snug hold, still remained the pacesetter but by a diminishing advantage at the quarter pole with outside foes bearing down, slipped away slightly when roused three wide at the head of the lane, dug in when confronted outside by the winner with a furlong to go but gave way grudgingly in deep stretch to settle for the runners up share. REGAL AFFAIR was allowed to settle into stride on the fence at the back of the pack, co-trailed on the inside of another at the half, was checked briefly for a moment at the seven sixteenths pole, started to move around horses three wide making a rally midway through the final turn, angled to the five path in the mix outside in upper stretch, was no match for the lead duo who had it to themselves in the final furlong but did finish up smartly nonetheless to be a clear third at the wire. PRINCESS JADE was away alertly for the early lead, took back letting the outside rival go on with it midway along the initial bend, kept a close eye on the frontrunner down the backstretch, took closer order between foes under right handed urging at the five sixteenths pole, shifted to the four path giving way fighting up front at straightening out for home and ran on one paced for a minor award. VELOCITA broke out at the start, settled on the outside of a rival in the second flight, dropped back slightly to share the rear outside down the backstretch, moved out four wide at the three furlong pole but could not gain on the leaders throughout the far turn and folded on the rail in upper stretch.
