Footnotes
TURBO CHARGED tracked three wide early on, kept a close eye on the frontrunner while three deep in the chasing pack at the half, was under a busy ride three wide outside foes with three furlongs to go starting to make a move, closed in to loom in the four path outside the embattled trio at the top of the stretch, veered in continually when asked for more under a right handed crop in the last sixteenth of a mile taking command and edged away for the win having the fence at the wire. ETHNIC SOUL assumed command on the rail, dictated terms slowing the pace down along the backstretch, still moved well within himself going comfortably on the lead in the last bend, shifted three wide holding off foes on both sides in upper stretch, drifted in under right handed urging at the furlong pole, could not fend off the winner outside at the sixteenth pole and had to be steadied in deep stretch on the rail just saving for the place share at the finish line. MY BOY BRUCE was under a good hold nestled on the rail behind the leader, shifted outside hounding the frontrunner along the backside, chased the pacesetter while just off the fence throughout the last turn, angled to the three path battling between horses in upper stretch, had to alter course when the coming to the sixteenth pole with the outside rival bearing in, tried to re-rally in deep stretch but lost the nod for the place share at the wire. MONDAY MORNING tracked the pacesetter while travelling between runners, settled on the rail well in range of the leader in midfield at the half, crept up on the fence midway around the last turn, hugged the rail in the hunt in upper stretch, was checked in tight losing momentum at the furlong pole, could not recover to play a role in the late running and settled on the fringes in the end. HIGHLAND PEAK broke out at the break but was quickly straightened out, settled inside sharing the rear in the first half of this route race, had the two path unable to gain on the lead quartet around the far turn, angled out four wide for the drive but could not find more down the lane to get into contention in the late running. YOU'RE SO LUCKY co-trailed on the outside, was hard ridden three wide throughout the far turn making no impact in the running, skimmed the fence at the top of the lane but could not offer a rally in the stretch drive. RIDER'S CLAIM OF FOUL PLUS A STEWARD'S INQUIRY#1 MY BOY BRUCE AGAINST #3 ETHNIC SOUL IN THE STRETCH AT THE FURLONG POLE WAS DISALLOWED. RIDER'S CLAIM OF FOUL AS WELL AS A STEWARD'S INQUIRY #3 MY BOY BRUCE AGAINST #5 TURBO CHARGED IN DEEP STRETCH AT THE SEVENTY YARDS POLE RESULTED IN #5 TURBO CHARGED BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND FOR INTERFERENCE
