Footnotes
TUX had a good spot tucked in on the rail drafting behind the frontrunner down the backside, continued to take the short way around the turn sitting poised still behind the engaged duo throughout the turn, shifted out off the leader getting a clear path two wide at the furlong pole and quickly burst between rivals getting the jump taking command in the late going at the seventy yards pole and held sway at the finish line. WILLIAM T was bumped by the inside rival therefore being pushed out making contact with the next outside foe as well at the break, became headstrong sitting between runners coming up to the lead duo midway down the backside under heavy restraint, settled in stride relaxing in the two path with foes on either side keeping a close eye on the lead pair around the turn, switched out to the four path having a clear lane, came with a sharp turn of foot in the final furlong but was denied by the inside winner who had just a slightly quicker spurt in deep stretch. EL CAPO broke out on the start causing a chain reaction with the two outside runners, had a narrow lead inside moving well down the backstretch, continued up top travelling comfortably while pestered by the outside rival who hard ridden to keep pace around the bend, put away the early speed foe in the two path by mid- stretch but could not dig down deep on the fence in the late stages being caught by a couple of outside rivals coming up to the finish line. RUNNING ON TIME prompted the issue on the outside early on, was under a drive outside the pacesetter trying to stay in touch forcing the issue around the bend, shifted to the three path in the hunt turning for home between foes but weakened with runners on either side in the final sixteenth to settle on the fringes. GUERRA could see the field trailing down the backside, lagged well behind the pack in the running around the oval, shifted out in the six path at the top of the lane and had good late energy closing in late to catch a rival while not that far off getting a minor share in the end as well. NAVY STREET had his back end bumped being knocked of stride by the inside rival at the start, recouped to travel three deep outside a couple of challengers in midfield, remained taking a three wide journey on the turn while ridden for more trying just to keep pace with the leaders, moved out to the five path for the drive to the wire but yielded with a sixteenth left to run.
