INTERIM ANALYSIS had a nice position on the fence tracking the engaged pair early on, sat poised taking closer order behind the lead twosome through the turn, thought of angling outside for a moment at the quarter pole, shifted back to the fence in upper stretch getting a clear run and shot through in an instant seizing control when called upon at the furlong marker to win going away easily crossing the finish line. BILDEAN co-trailed on the outside midway down the backside, started to circle foes three wide in midturn, swung out widest finding his best stride turning for home, was no match for the winner who exploded to the lead at the furlong pole but finished up well nonetheless to best the rest for the runners up share outside of horses at the wire. SASSAGOULA RIVER was off slowly seeing the field in the beginning, shared the rear inside four furlongs out, started to make a move two wide between horses at the five sixteenths pole, angled to the five path coming with a rally in upper stretch and ran on willingly to be a clear third while losing the duel for place late inside. ROYAL FONZ narrowly had the lead inside down the backstretch, edged clear briefly at the half, dictated terms up top just off the rail while pressured outside through the turn, was collared on both sides coming up to the furlong marker, offered little resistance and lasted at the finish line holding for a minor role. BLACK THUNDER prompted the issue outside two others down the back straightaway, chased the pacesetter outside at the half, inched up travelling three wide hounding the leader on the turn, bid for the lead in mid-stretch having the three path but had little left late and wilted with runners on each side in the final sixteenth. SCOTTIE'S BARN vied between rivals at the onset, took back being reined in midway along the backside watching the contesting duo fight it out up top, regressed inside runners around the bend while being asked for more, hugged the rail cutting the corner, could not get involved late but did manage to catch a weary outside rival in deep stretch. SMARTER STILL broke outwards on the start, settled in the middle of the pack three deep at the half mile marker, sat all alone in midfield keeping pace with the lead trio around the oval, shifted to the four path making a brief move narrowing the margin between foes turning for home but gave way, tiring, losing his path at the furlong pole and could not factor in the late running.
