Footnotes
AVA'S PRINCESS settled last but one shifting in heading into the turn, raced near the inside saving ground on that bend, angled six wide at the top of the stretch with momentum, struck the lead past the furlong marker and drove clear. EPISODE got away well but was put under a tight hold to cede the lead, pulled against the rider's restraint racing a bit rank early while off the inside, stalked the pacesetter into the turn from outside, moved to the lead briefly in upper stretch but was overtaken just past the furlong marker and no match for the winner. TABEI settled at the rear, saved ground inside on the turn, came out for the drive, ran on evenly. OOKPIK broke a bit awkwardly and slowly, was encouraged forward inside taking control after the opening sixteenth, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, dropped back and faded.
