Footnotes
SNOW FLOWER was quick to take the lead, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, kicked clear turning into upper stretch and was asked for run, held sway under steady handling. DOWNTOWN RO exchanged a bump at the start, pressed the eventual winner, was asked for more at the quarter pole but lost ground on that one leaving the turn while drifting out a bit into upper stretch, kept on fighting gamely to get the place. GOLDEN SUNSET exchanged a bump at the start, chased from between foes into the turn, moved out four wide passing the quarter pole, drifted in a bit then altered back out in upper stretch, got going at that juncture and gained steadily outside six to seven wide but was not enough. LET IT ALL OUT shifted in early and rapidly advanced inside then steadied on heels near the three-eighths, saved ground on the turn, tipped out for room in upper stretch, loomed a threat but was outkicked. PEPPER PATCH stumbled at the start, chased from outside, moved out from three to five wide on the turn, came into the stretch seven to eight deep and failed to rallly.
