I GOT MURPHED had a nice set up rating kindly sitting behind the engaged duo in midfield, measured the contesting pair waiting for the cue to go in midturn, shifted from the two path in upper stretch darting to the rail finding a seam at the furlong pole, drove by smartly taking control by the sixteenth pole inside and won comfortably when crossing the finish line. DOLCE FORTUNA was well held flanking the leader outside down the backstretch, took closer order forcing the pace then battling head-to-head outside by the quarter pole on the turn, was allowed to drift out to the five path in upper stretch arguing for the top spot outside a couple of challengers, could not keep up to the winner who was powering past on the inside with a sixteenth remaining but safely bested the rest for the runners up share at the wire. SOCIETY'S KAT was on hold on the fence seeing the field with the pack close knit down the backside, saved ground but could not improve much around the oval running with an outside foe, cut the corner reaching for more ground, shifted to the two path getting a lane at the furlong marker and smartly burst between horses late getting up for the show money. FOURFIFTYFOUR stalked close to the back well within striking distance on the outside down the backstretch but was being nudged on to do so, came under a vigorous ride two to three wide outside unable to making any gain on the others runners through the turn, had the three path for the drive to the wire and finished up evenly in the final furlong, picking up the leg weary early leader coming up to the finish line. RULE THE WAVES bobbled on the break, recovered quickly to have the lead inside between runners under a good hold at the five furlong marker, moved well up top while hounded outside around the bend, had the three path dueling with runners on both sides at the furlong pole giving it her all, could not find more in the late running through and wilted in the final seventy yards.
