Footnotes
GHOST ME got away well and was forwardly-placed early, switched out off the inside and exchanged a light bump with a foe in the vicinity of the nine-sixteenths, moved back nearer the rail and off the leaders, paused momentarily past the seven-sixteenths as a rival in front clipped heels, got back into stride quickly and saved ground inside through the turn, was in a hair tight in upper stretch, got through along the rail soon after and exploded home in the final furlong to surge past late. MRS D broke outwardly and a half-step slowly, made a rapid early advance outside runners, came in a bit exchanging contact past the nine-sixteenths, continued moving nearer the leader to stalk that one, applied pressure coming to the top of the stretch, took over at that point, led till late but was outfinished and no match for the winner. WORLDLY CHARM broke outwardly, settled outside at the rear, was forced four wide on the turn, encouraged along passing the five-sixteenths, came into upper stretch seven wide, kept on outside runners and got the nod for show. ALMIGHTY ONE was positioned mid-pack inside early up the backstretch steadily dropping back toward the rear, raced inside foes moving off the rail about the five-sixteenths, steadied slightly and altered outside runners in upper stretch, rallied from between foes but was in tight nearing the wire and just missed third. MO COOKIE chased from mid-pack into the turn going three to four wide, ran on evenly but was outfinished by both inside and outside rivals late. BAROMETRIC was forced out at the start but still broke sharply and quickly took control, set the pace from off the rail, was headed in upper stretch, weakened in the lane. SARAYU moved forward soon after the start, was bumped lightly from both sides past the nine-sixteenths, stalked in behind the leading pair clipping heels past the seven-sixteenths, continued two to three deep through the turn, drifted out then in a bit at the top of the stretch and flattened out thereafter. GONE AND PLENTY had an equipment adjustment pre-race, broke a bit awkwardly, lacked early speed, raced between foes three wide on the turn, came into upper stretch four deep, failed to threaten.
