ISAAC LEO broke in at the start, assumed the front controlling a soft pace left alone down the backside, rolled along up top with little pressured applied by outside rivals while quickening the tempo slightly around the bend, hugged the rail cutting the corner, had rivals outside bearing down late but under a well reserved and rationed out ride just lasted in a photo at the wire. MAC GOWAN was brushed outside on the start, had the fence being content to sit back of the pacesetter down the backstretch, inched closer still drafting behind the leader on the turn, shifted to the two path between rivals posing the main threat straightening out for home, kept edging up in deep stretch, surged right at the finish line but was denied by the slimmest of margins. RED D travelled in midfield outside having the three path down the backstretch, made some gradual gains three wide around the turn by the quarter pole, moved out to the four path in with a chance for a piece of the prize between foes, was closing in on the lead pair in deep stretch but could not get there in time settling for a solid and clear third in the end. WAHEELA broke a step slow, had a stalking position inside having one runner beaten down the back straightaway, took the short way around making little progression on the turn,, shifted out to the five path off the leaders getting a clear run by mid-stretch and ran on with good energy settling on the fringes unable to threaten the lead three at the finish line. DEVIL'S TONGUE chased the pacesetter outside down the backside, continued to go after the frontrunner two wide throughout the oval, shifted to the three path in the battle between in upper stretch for the lead but faded in the final eighth of a mile. HALCON NEGRO settled at the back of the pack in the early stages, could see the field lagging well behind still through the turn, shifted to the three path turning for home, narrowed the margin on the group down the stretch but could not get involved.
