SWAN LAKE exchanged a light bump early, settled at the back near the rail saving ground, advanced inside heading to the far turn, moved out two then three wide on that bend, came into upper stretch five wide advancing on the leader, was carried out by that one, was asked in upper stretch, responded well in mid-stretch shooting to the lead and clear then was eased up near the wire. VOLCANIC exchanged incidental contact after the start, settled mid-pack inside, switched out past the nine-sixteenths racing two then three wide on the far turn, struck the lead leaving that bend, came into upper stretch four wide, drifted out in upper- to mid-stretch, was no match for the winner. ONENIGHTSTANDARDS lacked early speed, raced well back two to three wide, advance between foes on the far turn, continued to rally inside in the stretch, was best of the rest. THREE SONNY SIDEUP exchanged a light brush early, settled outside a foe mid-division two to three deep, was encouraged along when dropping back a bit leaving the backstretch, forced wider on the far turn going three to four deep, kept on and improved position without threatening the top ones. BOURBONONAHOLIDAY lacked early speed racing outside foes about four to five wide at the rear, was ridden along to keep pace past the half, continued wide on the far turn, swung eight deep into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. ROYAL QUALITY was lightly bumped in the early going seeking forward position between runners, vied for the lead, moved clear at the three-eighths, was overtaken leaving the far turn, faltered in the stretch. SO CALLED VACATION chased from outside up close briefly in the early going but soon dropping back to the second flight still four to five wide, failed to rally. SHAMATEUR exchanged light contact early, vied inside for the lead, tapped on the brakes ever so slightly entering the far turn and retreated thereafter. TRINIDAD bumped a rival lightly gaining forward position, contended three to four wide, retreated from the nine-sixteenths, was not persevered with in the stretch.
