Footnotes
CAPTIVATING NAME was content going three wide on the initial turn outside the top two runners, dropped back slightly at the half outside another, edged up three wide in the early portion of the final bend, pounced three wide with a quick swooping move at the quarter when called upon, cleared off at will having the fence at the furlong marker and drove away increasing the margin of victory at the finish line. MONDAY MORNING travelled between horses in mid-pack, advanced smartly on the fence down the backside by the half, moved in with two outside foes coming to the leader sharply on the rail at the quarter, had no room being steadied losing all momentum, angled out three wide for the drive with the winner pulling away and bested the rest outside for the runners up share in deep stretch. MIAH SAID was loose up top just off the rail early on, continued to freewheel it down the backside running uncontested, remained up front on the fence but by a very quickly diminishing lead with rivals bearing down a quarter mile from the wire, had no answer when the winner stormed on past outside turning for home, lost the battle for the place share late but held for a clear third in the end. ALLBETSAREOFF stalked close to the back three wide on the first bend, made no progression outside down the backstretch, started to reach for more ground narrowing the margin like many others while shifting out at the quarter pole with the frontrunner stopping, swung out in the five path in the mix at the top of the lane and finished up evenly getting a minor share. MY BOY BRUCE had the rail well back off the frontrunner in the second position in the early stages, moved to the weary pacesetter between horses two wide in tight having to be checked at the quarter marker, angled to the four path trying to get back into gear but faded in the final furlong. YOU'RE SO LUCKY tossed its head trailing in the beginning, lagged behind early on down the back straight, picked up an inside foes making a slight move at the three eighths pole but could not offer a finish on the fence down the lane. HIGHLAND PEAK settled on the inside of a couple of runners near the rear, made little movement along the back straight, was relegated to last on the rail at the three eighths pole offering little around the far turn and could not factor in the stretch drive drifting out in mid-stretch to the five path.RIDERS CLAIM OF FOUL #4 MONDAY MORNING AGAINST #7 CAPTIVATING NAME AT THE QUARTER POLE WAS DISALLOWED
