ACCELERANDO had the rail under a snug hold in the second flight behind the front twosome, had a nice solo trip in third watching the contesting pair fight it out down the backside, ranged up smoothly three wide in the leaders midway on the far turn ,pounced three wide in upper stretch between horses, seized command by the furlong marker and was kept busy late just holding inside for the win from a fast closing runner up. ITS IN THE CARDS had runners on either side rating kindly in the middle of the pack, took closer order up the fence with a half mile still to run, kept pace with the tempo quickening on the far turn, shifted to the three path at the top of the stretch, moved out to the five path at the furlong poke getting clear run on the winner and stormed home late on the outside but just missed closing in at the finish line for the top spot. CONNOR pressed the pace on the outside, continued to throw it down bobbing heads up top with the inside runner down the backstretch, finally put away the early speed foe by the to be loose on the engine midway through the final bend, was collared outside by the winner in the stretch offering little resistance by the furlong marker and found a bit more in the late going to save for the show award at the finish line. ZUCCHERO had the fence sitting in mid-division in the early stages, narrowed the gap on the front three down the backside at the half, kept inching up two wide on the far turn, shifted to the four path in the hunt outside of the lead pair in upper stretch but flattened out in the final furlong to only get a minor share in the end. WAITINGFORAHOLIDAY hopped slightly on the break, settled between runners close to the back of the pack three wide on the initial bend, had one beaten on the fence down the backside, began to reach for more ground on the rail at the five sixteenths pole, angled to the three path straightening out for home and showed late interest trying to close in for a minor share in deep stretch. BALBONI'S CREW broke out at the start, stalked on the fence near the rear, was relegated to last just galloping along the backstretch, lagged behind on the far turn, shifted four wide at the head of the lane and passed a few runners in the stretch drive. DRAW BOOT broke in at the start, travelled six wide having trouble taking the corner on the first turn, settled three deep onthe outside in mid-pack down the backstretch, had no impact three wide around foes on the last bend, swung out widest in the six path turning for home and failed to menace down the lane. KNOWING tracked on the outside beside the eventual winner around the first turn, dropped back a touch between runners at the half, retreated further unable to quicken with others on the final bend and had no finish to offer in the four path through the lane. SOMEKINDA MISCHIEF was in tight at the start, settled at the rear going three wide on the first turn, made little headway three deep along the backside, could not get involved just off the fence around the last turn and could only pass the stopping early leader in the final eighth of a mile who ran out of gas being used up from his earlier efforts. PADRAIG narrowly had the advantage on the inside in the first of two turns, battled inside down the backstretch going head to head up top, gave way arguing on the front end by the three eighths pole on the rail, retreated inside of foes along the far turn, emptied out by mid-stretch and was not persevered with in the final furlong.
