JUSTINE was prominent up top on the fence in the beginning, took back being reined in at the half off the lead pair, sat poised on the rail around the turn, bullied her way through two wide coming on at the top of the lane, seized control by the sixteenth pole and held safe but by a diminishing margin at the wire. BREEZERO was unhurried co-trailing inside down the back straight, advanced on the fence in the turn closing the gap on the lead trio by the quarter pole, shifted out to the five-path full of run in upper stretch and charged home outside the leaders in the final furlong almost getting to the winner at the finish line. CHROMEPLATED HEART rated kindly sitting isolated in midfield down the backstretch, started to uncork a run two wide outside a rival at the five sixteenths pole, angled to the four path in the hunt outside taking the corner, never wavered in the drive, kept trying closing in between rivals in deep stretch but was on the wrong end of a phot for the top three spots. MIDNIGHT MARTINI pressed the pace on the outside, chased the pace on the turn under a vigorous ride making no gain, was pushed out three wide in the mix for a small share in upper stretch and ran on evenly the final eighth of a mile to settle on the fringes. RULE THE WAVES was roused between foes having a neck in front through the backside, edged away in midturn foe the clear lead, hugged the rail holding on up top in upper stretch but had little in reserve late and wilted inside of runners by the sixteenth pole. XARABELLA shared the rear outside another down the backside, made no movement going two to three wide around the oval, was floated out trying to make something happen straightening out for the stretch drive but could not factor in the late running.
