LUDICROUS was allowed to settle into stride on the outside sharing the rear in the beginning, made a strong move around the turn with the rider still in the saddle circling runners three to four wide, loomed boldly widest in the six path at the top of the lane and charged home in the final furlong to get up in deep stretch winning going away in the end. MINIMUM FORTY was sandwiched between horses on the start, recovered to get the lead by the five eighths pole, had a narrow advantage on the fence inside of two others throughout the turn, spurted away slightly hugging the rail taking the final corner, kept fighting on to the very end but just got got by the winner outside in the very late going. LUZ DE LA LUNA settled on the outside in mid-pack watching the lead duo, closed in three wide around the far turn to be in the mix in the four path in upper stretch and finished up willingly between runners to win the duel for the show money. GIVE ME THE BOOTS was keen while hard held drafting behind the pacesetter midway along the backside, had to wait behind runners on the fence with nowhere to go midway around the oval, shifted to the two path in upper stretch, then back to the rail trying to find clear running room and finally angling back to the two path late but could not get into gear in the late running. FORESTERS EXEC was bumped by the outside rival on the start, co-trailed inside another along the back straight, could see the field midway around the oval saving all the ground, shifted out to be five wide at the furlong pole having a clear run and passed tired runners late. MISS DEMANDING veered in sharply causing a little chain reaction on the break, travelled in mid-division between horses down the backside, held position under a ride two ride throughout the bend, shifted to the five path straightening out for home but lacked a rally down the lane. GIRLS WEEKEND pressed the pace on the outside, vied between horses at the five sixteenths pole, remained in the conversation still having the three path with runners on both sides at the head of the lane but faltered by the furlong pole.
