SERENADING AMAYA was allowed to patiently settle into stride seeing the field in the early stages, took closer order with the group bunching up at the half, inched up around the far turn looking for a seam, opted to shift out sharply pouncing four wide in upper stretch and determinedly wore down the contesting lead duo inside down the lane to pull away for the win at the finish line. RELOAD EH had a good position on the fence keeping an eye on the pacesetter, sat poised waiting for the cue to go on the rail through the last bend, shifted to the two path in the thick of things in upper stretch, closed in to get a head in front between horses for a fleeting moment at the sixteenth pole but could not fend off the winners late charge outside in the late going. DIXIE DOLL veered out on the break, recovered to be loose up top on the first of two turns, had a narrow advantage with an outside foe prompting the issue at the half, was nudged on for more holding inside up top around the second bend, disposed of the brief challenger when spurted away on the fence in upper stretch, raced greenly through the lane switching leads numerous times when urged trying to fend off the outside runners bearing down at the furlong pole but could not find more late inside fading in deep stretch to be a clear third at the wire. SUNNYVILLE stumbled breaking inwards at the start, stalked close to the back end outside another on the first turn, co-trailed outside with the eventual winner at the half, was hard ridden going three to four wide making no gain on the far turn, was floated out widest in the six-path turning for home and could not be a factor in the late going. ALMASTY'S LUST tracked the frontrunner in tandem with an inside foe to begin, moved in at the half flanking the leader outside, travelled two wide forcing the pace around the last bend, shifted to the three-path giving way fighting up front at the top of the lane and wilted even further in the final eighth of a mile. TAKE CHANCES was taken a hold of when the outside runner was bearing in at the start, settled near the rear on the inside early on, shifted to the outside making little headway down the back straight, was asked right-handed in midfield at the five sixteenths pole for more run offering no response and failed to menace in the stretch drive.
