RUNNING ON TIME had the early lead on the inside, bobbed heads up top down the backstretch while on the fence, began to edge away from the early speed rival at the quarter pole through the last turn and under a busy ride drew off with authority in the final furlong for basically the wire to wire tally. NIIGON'S LAW travelled three wide in the middle of the pack in the first of two bends, settled on the outside of another in the second flight with a half mile still to go, closed in three wide at the quarter pole to pose the only threat four wide straightening out for the drive but was no match for the winner in the final furlong and finished up well enough to safely hold for the secondary share at the wire. MAKER'S FLATTER had a nice set up all alone watching lead trio in the beginning, sat on the rail in the second tier tracking the front pair at the half, was driven on having the fence bit could not gain on the front three midway around the last turn, hugged the rail turning for home and finished up a non-threatening third in the end. ROYAL PRESENCE pressed the pace on the outside in the first bend, took even closer order getting a head in front for a fleeting moment outside midway along the back straightaway, was scrubbed on two wide on the last turn but could not go with runners on both sides by the quarter pole and while in the three path evened out down the stretch to be a fringe player when crossing the finish line. MAD WORLD travelled at the back of the pack with an outside foe, made no movement on the rail down the backstretch, stayed on the fence having little to offer running around the turn and could not get involved while in the two path in the drive to the wire. WEMBLEY AVENUE bore out on the break, trailed three wide around the first turn, share the rear outside another with the group running in pairs along the backside, continued in tandem with an inside foe on the last turn making no impression and in the four path could not factor in the stretch drive.
