Footnotes
ONDINE LADY had an ideal set up early on isolated watching the contesting pair, tracked the engaged duo going three deep outside others at the half, cruised around moving three wide taking the lead at the five sixteenths pole, edged away slightly at the quarter pole, finally got the best of the stubborn inside runner with a furlong to go, braced for the oncoming late closer outside with a sixteenth to run and just had enough under a well rationed out ride to hold on at the wire for the victory. CANDID CANDACE was situated in the middle of the pack four deep on the outside down the back straight, travelled four wide outside horses on the turn, had a sharp turn of foot circling around runners midway on the bend, posed the main threat four wide straightening out for the drive, was gaining with every stride in the final furlong but just missed getting to the winner at the finish line. MAGIC MODIE pressed the pace outside in the early going, momentarily seized command poking her head in front between rivals in the two path at the three eighths pole, relinquished the lead inside by midturn, was hard ridden but was still in the hunt on the fence in upper stretch, had little left to give by the furlong marker up front and faded late to the top two in deep stretch but easily held for the show money with no challengers around at the wire for that placing. LIAM'S AWESOME was away slowly on the break to trail leaving the chute, shifted out with five sixteenths to go commencing a run by the quarter pole, found a seam three wide turning for home and finished up willingly down the stretch to win the duel for the minors in the last seventy yards. CLARAYOUTHEBEST stalked three deep on the outside close to the back of the pack, co-trailed three wide with two inside rivals through the turn, shifted out five wide having a chance for a small share by the furlong pole in the stretch drive but was outfinished in the last seventy yards. SARAH'S DANCER was in tight being jostled at the start to be near the rear in the beginning, co-trailed with runners on either side when the field bunched up at the half, offered a mild run three wide outside foes with five sixteenths to go and finished with some late energy in the four path dueling between runners for a minor role in deep stretch. CINNAMON BITS broke inwards on the start, settled between horses in the three path in midfield along the backside, made a brief run three wide under a vigorous ride at the quarter pole but could not carry on with the rally and wilted inside foes in the two path by the sixteenth pole. ZEENA SWIFT broke out on the start, settled in mid-pack between foes in the two path along the backside, narrowed the gap keeping a close eye on the top twosome while in hand at the half, came under a ride trying just to hold position around the bend and had little to show in the drive to the wire inside rivals. SECRET GIZMO had the rail in mid-division along the backside, improved to track the lead pair having the fence at the half, lost momentum stuck behind the tiring early leader midway around the turn and had little to give inside horses in the stretch running. SEATTLE SIGNAL was pinched slightly on the break, nevertheless assumed command leaving the chute inside, conceded the front inside to two others offering little resistance on the fence at the three eighths pole, dropped back through the turn on the rail and shortened stride in upper stretch making little presence galloping down the lane to the finish line.
