Footnotes
HOLIDAY ROSE was void of early speed settling into stride at the rear down the backstretch, shifted out closing the gap on the field by midturn, swooped around horses four wide at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the seven path having full flight in upper stretch, stormed past outside drifting in slightly at the furlong marker and was keep to the task to hold safe for the win. ZIPFIRE was part of the fray up top having the rail in the beginning, took back to watch the engaged duo inside by the half, waited for the cue to go behind rivals midway on the turn, angled out finding a seam in the two path off the tiring leader in upper stretch and with a late surge on the rail just got up at the wire to be second best. SILENT PATSY had an outside stalking trip early, was on hold behind a couple of runners with five sixteenths still to run, bullied her way through three wide straightening out for home between horses, was no match for the winner down the lane but did finish up determinedly just getting nosed out for the place share at the wire. SAVE THE DATE veered out on the break, had a good spot on the outside five deep keeping a close eye on the engaged duo, moved in three wide midway on the bend, poked her head in front in the three path at the top of the lane but could not fend off the late challengers and faded between foes with a furlong to go. MY CASH FACTOR travelled just behind the lead trio down the backside, could not hold forward position between rivals in the two path at the three furlong marker tracking the pacesetter, shifted out five wide still in the hunt for share turning for home, drifted in slightly in upper stretch dueling between horses and was outkicked losing placings in the last eighth of a mile. BUFF BAY settled close to the back of the pack having the fence, was scrubbed on three wide making little headway on the turn, angled out six wide for the stretch drive and finished with interest closing in late but could not gain any position at the finish line. SILENT SUNSHINE had the front narrowly in the three path down the back straight, battled outside another at the half, maintained a slim advantage on the fence with five sixteenths from home, was collared outside at the top of the stretch offering little resistance and folded inside foes by the furlong marker. HYPER ANGEL pressed the pace between horses in the two path down the back straight, dueled inside at the half, vied with runners on both side up top at the quarter pole, was steadied sharply in tight four wide in upper stretch and could not play a factor in the late running.
