WINSTON BLUE was allowed to settle, made an early advance between foes three to four wide into the turn, came into upper stretch seven deep, drifted in late while surging outside to prevail. DETERMINED FURY tracked from inside just off the leaders, shifted out leaving the turn, came into upper stretch five wide, rallied inside of and in tandem with the winner but was outfinished while being carried in a bit late. DISSECTOLOGIST stalked from outside, bid about the quarter pole, dueled through upper to mid-stretch, beat the sparring partner but was no match for the top pair. MASTER SPY got away well but steadily dropped back outside, raced off the pace three to four wide on the turn, came out six wide turning for home, shifted in a bit in the stretch and rallied keeping on late to improve. CLASSIC DANCER moved to the lead after the opening furlong, set the pace inside, was challenged leaving the turn and headed at the quarter pole, fought back in upper stretch dueling before yielding late. KID FORESTER settled off the pace near the inside, saved some ground cutting the corner into upper stretch, came out a bit in mid-stretch, lacked the needed late kick. U S ARMY CORPS chased from outside four to five wide through the turn coming into upper stretch eight deep, failed to rally. VALLEY VICTORY moved forward between runners under some early coaxing, chased till late on the turn, gradually dropped back, steadied slightly when in a bit tight near the sixteenth pole and faded. BET N WIN broke a step slowly, lacked early speed racing outside or otherwise off the inside part of the track, was never a threat. SHERIF ALI was outpaced throughout while racing inside.
