NICKI KNOWS BEST was coaxed forward from the start with the early lead from just off the rail, was overtaken late on the first turn dropping back between foes to stalk between runners in the second flight, asked for run passing the quarter pole, drove past in late stretch. EZ MISS SASSY was reluctant to load, settled off the pace about four wide, advanced on the far turn rapidly moving to the lead past the quarter pole, was clear in mid-stretch but outkicked. MERCKX was in a bit tight between foes heading into the first turn, stalked in behind the leader two to three wide, made an early move at the nine-sixteenths press the leader, took a brief lead at five-sixteenths, switched outside the new leader past the furlong marker, was no match for the top two. ROSE was in a bit tight between foes early, settled off the pace two to four wide through both turns, altered outside runners at the three-sixteenths, ran on evenly. STREET SAVANT was unhurried off the inside at the rear, swung seven wide into upper stretch and improved position. APPOINTED TALENT was bumped heading into the first turn, raced up close in pursuit outside runners in the second flight three to four wide, faded in the stretch. LOADED DECK broke a step slowly, raced at the back on or just off the rail, came out in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. JAZZY SCOOPS tracked from inside within range saving ground, came out three wide for the drive, dropped back and faded. HER SEQUEL bumped a rival entering the first turn and was caught six wide then gunned to take the lead at the six- and one-half shifting in to set the pace nearer inside, gave way.
