Footnotes
BIG BABY HENRY had the rail position at the back while in company with two others down the back straight, crept closer when nudged mid turn inside a rival, found a seam carrying all the momentum six wide between horses straightening out for home, stayed on the left lead battling down the lane and determinedly prevailed at the finish line for the hard fought victory. CRUCIAL TAUNT was part of the back trio going three deep on the outside at the half, edged up when roused three wide outside foes around the oval, swung out widest full of run in the seven path turning for home, battled with the inside winner down the entire stretch but just missed at the finish line under a game effort. GOLDEN TEST prompted the pace outside leaving the chute, travelled the widest in the four path part of the group in the second flight chasing the pacesetter on the bend, remained was in the hunt in the four path between foes at the top of the stretch, could not quicken with the outside rivals charging down the lane at the furlong marker but still finished up to be a distant but clear third at the wire. TIGER TOWN was off a step slow on the break, moved in to press the pace inside at the half, took back to sit on the fence watching the leader through the turn saving all the ground, shifted out from the rail off the tiring pacesetter coming with a mild run in the two path at the eighth pole and ran on to hold for a minor placing in the end. DADDY SEND MONEY was shuffled back between rivals to be at the back of the pack with horses on both sides at the half, could not quicken with others making an outside rally mid-turn to lag behind the group by the quarter pole, angled to the six path for clear run in upper stretch and finished with interest passing tired runners down the stretch. IMPERIAL GOLD had the lead on the inside going into the backstretch, rolled along loose up top through the turn setting a fast pace, was collared outside trying to hold position having the fence at the furlong marker but had little left for the late running a wilted by the sixteenth pole. ISAAC LEO had a good spot tracking the lead trio midway down the backstretch, narrowed the margin going into the turn keeping a close eye on the frontrunner three wide between others around the bend, drifted inwards having the three path in upper stretch and stalked having no finish to offer in the final furlong. FOURLEGSGOOD broke outwards being gathered in quickly trailing the field after the break, made an early move advancing sharply between foes down the backside, was part of the quartet tracking the leader on the turn in the two path with challengers on either side, could not maintain forward position under a drive by the quarter pole, lost his path three wide at the top of the stretch giving way and was not persevered with in the final furlong.
