Footnotes
LASTING SILENCE moved forward and shifted in settling mid-division stalking about three wide, advanced past the three-eighths, came into upper stretch four deep, bid past the furlong marker, forged clear inside the sixteenth pole. SOONER LUNAR moved forward between foes into the first turn, pressed the leader from outside, edged closer applying more pressure and made a bid at the quarter pole taking a very narrow advantage, dueled through the stretch, was no match for the winner but beat the sparring partner to get the nod for second. SHAMATEUR got away well but was still coaxed forward inside, set the pace hounded by a foe, dueled with that one from the quarter pole, kept on gamely but lost the nod for place. AGILE DANCER was forwardly-placed outside three to four wide into the first turn then eased back off the leading pair to stalk, kept on in the lane four to five deep but just missed both third and second while finishing well. LIL BIT GANGSTA tucked in early settling well back inside on then just off the rail, angled out six deep in upper- to mid-stretch, kicked on well but needed more. SPARKLET saved ground inside both turns, was under ar ide past the five-sixteenths, came out several paths in upper- to mid-stretch then back in a bit, ran on evenly and was outfinished for a better spot. STONKS was taken back from between runners entering the first turn two wo three wide, settled off the pace dropping back to last heading into the far turn, fanned seven deep turning for home, passed a few then evened out. PROUD RONIN was forwardly-placed tracking inside, saved ground, came up empty in the stretch. PRIME PLUS ONE was bumped by an outside foe then clipped heels in behind that rival entering the first turn stumbling badly, moved out and made an early advance outside five wide heading into the far turn, floated out a bit wider for the drive, came up empty. DARE TO BE KING bumped the inside foe heading into the first turn then clipped heels in behind with that rival, went three to four wide through the first turn racing outside at the back, was under a ride by the three-eighths still about three deep, failed to threaten.
