WAR EMPEROR settled off the pace outside racing mostly four to five wide, drove past late. KING KADOOMENT broke a step slowly, advanced inside under some coaxing heading up the backstretch, bid up the rail at the five-sixteenths dueling with the prior leader, was headed by that on in upper-stretch, regained command edging away near the sixteenth pole but was caught late. TUCKAMORE was lightly bumped at the start, moved through inside to take the lead soon after coming out off the rail to dictate terms, faced an inside challenger at the five-sixteenths and was headed by that one, retook the lead by mid-stretch, weakened late. FLATTER ZIP bumped a foe lightly at the break, was urged from the start, had a brief early lead but was outsprinted by an inside foe, dropped back between runners stalking in behind from off the rail, moved out under urging three deep coming to the quarter pole, could only go evenly in the stretch. KING IN TOWN broke a step slowly and lacked early speed bringing up the rear, came into upper stretch four to five wide and passed rivals. MY JUSTYN THYME was urged from the break showing brief early speed chasing the lead, dropped back between foes, shifted in midway on the turn and was asked for run, failed to rally. JUJU DREAM shifted in up the backstretch racing near but off the rail, failed to menace. SLOVAN chased from outside, steadily retreated.
