WAR PAINTER was tucked in on the fence watching the leader, drafted behind down the backstretch, was nudged along keeping pace measuring the frontrunner through the final bend, shifted out having sights set on the pacesetter in mid-stretch and drove on past outside in deep stretch for the win. ZISISIT (IRE) assumed command on the rail from the onset, dictated the pace unchallenged along the backside, continued up top through the turn with little pressure, moved well in upper stretch but needed more in the late running unable to fend off the charge by the winner in the last sixteenth of a mile. DESTINY RO travelled on the fence in mid-division, improved position inside foes at the half, was nudged along keeping pace with others around the far turn, began to shift out at the quarter pole to be five wide straightening out for the drive and finished up well enough to be a non threatening third at the wire. NANTUCKETS DAY was unhurried seeing the fields in the early stages, began to make a move passing a rival inside at the five sixteenths pole, angled out from the two path to be four wide under left-handed encouragement down the stretch and burst between horses late to settle on the fringes in the end. MASON'S MUSIC had a stalking role ahead of only one rival in the early stages, moved outside foes three wide making a run at the seven sixteenths marker, continued the rally circling three wide around horses through the far turn to bid four wide in upper stretch, stalled with runners on both sides at the furlong pole and just missed holding for a minor role at the wire. VAZHI kept a close eye on the pacesetter travelling three wide outside foes early, chased the leader along the backstretch, edged closer while between foes in the second flight through the final turn, battled with rivals in the three path in upper stretch, could not finish up with others late and faded inside rivals in the final sixteenth. RADIO GOO GOO hopped slightly on the break, tracked the leader between foes on the first turn, dropped back to be in the third flight outside along the back straight, was going the wrong way when under a ride at the three eighths pole, emptied out by upper stretch and cantered down the lane to the finish line.
