Footnotes
FRIENDLY GHOST was allowed to settle into stride stalking near the rear on the outside, started to get into gear inside another midway on the turn, shifted out in full flight six wide at thew top of the stretch, stormed past runners one by one down the lane, got up for the lead by the seventy yards pole outside and won going away when crossing the finish line. SUMMER COMMANDER had a nice set up on the rail rating in hand watching the embattled duo down the backside, began to move in on the dueling pair through the bend, closed in quickly when called upon four wide turning for home, took control by the furlong marker but could not quicken enough with the winner outside late and settled for the runners up share instead at the wire. SHADOW REALM had position in the middle of the pack in the three path down the backstretch, was outside runners in the third tier travelling outside around the bend, moved in with a smart turn of foot at the quarter pole, had a chance for a share three wide in upper stretch, bid for the lead between challengers at the furlong marker, could not keep up to the lead pair late but finished up willingly nonetheless and ran on to the end to capture the show money. REGAL GUEST had a tracking trip on the outside in the secondary flight, closed the gap by the quarter pole going two to four wide through the turn, shifted out in the five path turning for home and finished up one paced late picking up the leg weary early leader in deep stretch for a minor role at the finish line. CRIMINAL INTENT battled on the inside down the backstraight up front, knocked heads setting a scorching pace through the turn inside another speed rival and yielded by the sixteenth pole from his early efforts. ITS TIME TO SHINE dueled outside down the backstretch, rambled on still forcing the quick pace outside around the bend, had nothing left to give being used up in the early parts of the race and faltered in the two path by mid-stretch. KEKOA ducked in sharply at the break to trail the field by many along the backside, lagged well behind the group on the turn but did show late interest to burst between foes late passing a couple of runners in the stretch drive. SUNDAY'S WELL settled in mid-pack down the backside in the early running, retreated between foes with seven sixteenths to run and had nothing to offer in the stretch running. FROST BITTEN stalked ahead of only the troubled starter down the backside, travelled in the third flight having the fence running around the bend making little impression, took an awkward step in the two path at the furlong pole, was eased immediately and left via equine ambulance.
