Footnotes
MATHEMATICAL had an ideal set up rating kindly on the outside isolated watching the contesting duo at the half, ranged up mid turn when nudged for more by the rider, pounced smartly three wide in upper stretch, seized control drifting in slightly with a furlong to go and was kept to the task to hold safe for the victory at the wire. ALLURING AMY was away alertly for the early advantage, dueled outside at the half, tracked the loose leader around the bend having the eventual winner to its outside midturn, shifted out off the pacesetter in mid-stretch to be in the three path in the final furlong and determinedly chased the winner to the wire inching closer late. SOUPERRAZZLEDAZZLE was off a touch slow to stalk down the backside ahead of only the other poor starter, edged up saving all the ground on the fence around the bend, shifted out coming up to the weary frontrunner at the furlong pole and finished up with good energy bursting between horses in the last seventy yards to secure the show money. DEANNA travelled four deep in the middle of the pack down the backside straight, dropped back while outside three wide at the three furlong pole to see the field in the turn running, picked up a runner outside at the quarter pole, angled four wide for the drive and finished up willingly settling on the fringes while dueling for the third place share in deep stretch. DIVINELY INSPIRED moved up on the inside to press the issue on the rail by the half, rattled along up top setting an even tempo unchallenged throughout the turn, was collared outside by the winner turning for home, offered little resistance with a furlong to go relinquishing the lead and folded inside rivals in the final seventy yards losing a couple of placings late coming up to the finish line. WHISKEY OVER WINE was restless in the stall prior to the start, broke slow to trail the field along the backside, made a brief rally getting into contention splitting foes at the three-eighths marker, had little left to offer by the quarter pole and emptied out in the stretch drive.
