Footnotes
CLAY SOLDIER stalked from outside four wide into the turn, fanned out five to six deep turning for home, drifted in while rallying, struck the lead outside the sixteenth pole and moved clear. OL' BLONDIE settled toward the back near inside but off the rail, angled six to seven wide coming into upper stretch, exchanged light contact, kicked on to get up for place. EMPTY GESTURE rated just off the leading pair inside, saved ground on the turn, cut the corner taking the lead in upper stretch past the three-sixteenths, was overtaken near the sixteenth pole, proved no match and lost place. BREEZERO settled off the pace, went two to three wide on the turn, faced traffic in upper stretch, made room between foes, kept on but needed more. SUPER SICILY broke a step slowly, advanced outside into the turn, fanned seven to eight deep turning for home, exchanged light contact in upper stretch, had no extra late. RETAIL THERAPIST broke just a half-step slowly, pursued in behind inside, came out off the fence coming into upper stretch, faced traffic and lost the possible path nearing mid-stretch, ran on inside. KIKITSA soon took the lead, set the pace from off the rail, bumped with an outside rival in upper stretch then weakened. SOUPER SUNDAY pressed the pace three wide into the turn, was bumped in upper stretch, weakened.
