Footnotes
HOME FOR A REST was nestled on the rail in midfield in the early running, inched up well in hand on the fence mid turn waiting for the cue to go, looked for a seam behind rivals at the top of the stretch, found a lane in the two path a furlong from home and quickly burst through rivals at the sixteenth pole to edge clear for the win when crossing the finish line. HARD TO CAPTURE had the outside in mid-division along the backstretch, ranged up three wide moving in smartly throughout the turn to be in the thick of things bidding for the lead turning for home, was no match for the winner inside with a sixteenth of a mile remaining to run but still gutted it out to the finish line and won the tight photo to best the rest for the runners up share in the end. LOIS LEN was hustled from the onset to shake loose up top clearing to the rail by the five eights pole, dictated terms up top by had a shrinking advantage inside by the quarter pole, was engulfed outside by a trio of rivals at the furlong pole, fought on stubbornly on the rail in the late stages but gave way grudgingly in deep stretch just being nosed out for second money at the wire. STOLEN was allowed to settle into stride seeing the field down the backstretch, started to come with a run four wide circling foes sharply at the five sixteenths pole, loomed boldly four wide outside rivals at the top of the lane, briefly got his head in front at the furlong marker for a stride ir two but stalled in the last sixteenth to be on the losing end of a three way decision for the place share at the wire. VERI GIZMO had inside position near the rear in the early going, made little headway having the rail around the turn, closed the gap skimming the fence to be in with a chance for a small share in upper stretch but evened out in the final furlong. DYNAMIC STRIKE travelled three deep close to the back of the pack along the backside, was relegated to the rear with three eights to go offering little around the turn, shifted out widest in the five path turning for home but failed to menace outside horses in the stretch running. MY SUNNY VALENTINE was all alone contenting watching the frontrunner down the backside, could not quicken with others on both sides making a move at the quarter pole, angled out three wide straightening for home and faltered in upper stretch between foes.
