Footnotes
QUEENS COMMAND (IRE) settled in mid-division outside a rival on the first turn, improved under a good rhythm to watch the lead duo outside in the running along the backstretch, had a strong turn of foot three wide going around horses at the quarter pole, bid for the lead three wide straightening out for home, seized control with little resistance by the furlong pole and won going away at the wire. BLITZ was loose up top heading onto the first turn, quickened the tempo maintaining control up front but was hounded on the outside down the backstretch, disposed of the early speed challenger midway on the final bend, braced for the bid from the winner outside turning for home, could not find more relinquishing the lead by the furlong marker but did run on quite well to be alone comfortably besting the rest of the field at the wire for the secondary share. MY GIRL SKY tossed her head on the break, was tucked in on the rail in mid-pack in the beginning, sat alone in the third flight with others paired up along the backside, was hard ridden edging closer inside foes just off the fence on the far turn, shifted out five wide with runners on both sides in upper stretch and had a good late rally to just getup on the outside for the show money in deep stretch. FLYING BLACK was checked soon after the break to share the rear inside early on, made no progression along the backside, sat alone seeing the field on the rail at the quarter pole, began to mount a rally shifting out four bursting between rivals in upper stretch but stalled slightly in the late running and was outgamed for the third place share by a closing outside foe in the last seventy yards. COZY CURLIN KITTEN travelled three wide tracking the front runner outside of rivals in the initial turn, over in to hound the leader outside down the backstretch, was scrubbed on under a hard drive but could not get to the pacesetter throughout the last bend, shifted to the three path at the top of the land and faded inside runners in the final sixteenth of a mile unable to hold for the show ward in deep stretch. BOLT ENOREE tracked the pacesetter while having the rail into the first bend, sat just of the engaged duo while in the second flight with the eventual winner in her outside down the backstretch, could not match strides with the lead three midway on the last turn and yielded to runners just off the fence in upper stretch. WICKENHEISER was unhurried co-trailing on the outside of another rival in the early stages, offered a mild spurt three wide at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the six path for the stretch drive but failed to fire outside runners through the lane.
