BRANDY AND ME moved up inside heading up the backstretch, tipped out past the five-sixteenths advancing on the leader three wide at the quarter pole, struck the lead in mid-stretch and drew clear. HAWBERRY was held up at the rear in the early going, given mild encouragement past the five-eighths and advanced steadily inside, was urged along past the five-sixteenths, came out a couple paths in mid-stretch, kept on inside a foe to get up for second. ELLA IT IS was forced out passing the gap as a rival in front moved out, settled mid-pack racing two to three deep into the turn, moved out five wide leaving that bend and gaining to within striking distance, lost place late. REGAL MOMENT was bumped past the five- and one-half racing outside foes up the backstretch, advanced four then six wide on the turn, kept on in the lane but needed more. SOUPER DIVA soon moved to the lead, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, lacked the needed late kick. CAMPUS QUEEN was lightly bumped at the start, forced out when bumped into a rival past the gap, tapped on the brakes slightly in traffic soon after, moved nearer inside racing two to three wide into and on the turn, ran on in the stretch. FLEURY broke outwardly bumping a rival lightly at the start, was forced out past the gap bumping the same outside rival, dropped back a bit just after and shifted in heading to the turn, saved ground through much of that bend, fanned out seven wide turning into upper stretch and improved position. PAGEANT QUEEN was urged from the start, chased briefly then dropped back between runners, angled nine wide in upper stretch, failed to menace. MIGHTY TANNER chased from outside three to four wide, failed to rally. ARIANNA'S TOUR switched outside the leader passing the gap, chased two to three wide, dropped back late on the turn shifting in, failed to rally. FLYING SCHULZY chased from outside foes racing up close three to five wide, dropped back and faded.
