QUIET MADDELENA got away well but was soon joined by an outside foe, dueled inside that one, was overtaken past the three-eighths not too far off, saved ground and retook the lead at the three-sixteenths, moved clear while drifting out, held from a steadily gaining rival. FOREST B settled off the pace, stalked into the turn from off the inside, came into upper stretch six deep, gained steadily but was not enough. SHAMRA was outpaced racing outside at the rear, was mostly four to seven wide, ran on mildly late. BLAZING SKY was outpaced early, settled near inside at the back, kicked on mildly late inside. FOOLISH GAMES was urged from the break, dueled outside, took a narrow lead past the three-eighths, contended between foes late on the turn, yielded in late stretch. SUMMER SNOW stalked the dueling leaders advanced past the three-eighths three to four wide, made a mild brief bid coming to the quarter pole but came up empty.
