RAT PORTAGE settled into stride at the rear inside, saved ground on the turn, came out five wide bumping a rival lightly then six wide in upper stretch while commencing a bid between foes, kicked clear, held under steady handling. PRICELESS WILL settled off the pace inside, advanced late on the turn while shifting out, came into upper stretch seven then eight deep, gained slowly and steadily but was not enough. FORESTER'S FORTUNE was bumped into a rival after the start, settled off the pace and off the inside, came into upper stretch in behind foes and about five or six deep, altered outside rivals ten wide, finished strongly but too late. PINE KNOLL was lightly bumped into a rival after the start, eased back off the leaders and switched out stalking three to four wide into the turn, came into upper stretch six wide, kept on evenly but failed to produce a bid. PAT'S GAMBLE was off the pace outside, put to urging by the five-sixteenths, fanned ten wide for the drive, moved inside a foe in the stretch and improved position. HANLAN steadied after the start, was outside foes at the rear into the turn racing four to six wide, fanned eleven deep into upper stretch and passed a few tired rivals. RAPID GREY came out after the start lightly bumping a rival, was prominent between foes early, was bumped then shuffled back at the half, stalked in behind the leaders just off the fence, came out leaving the turn, clipped heels at that juncture stumbling badly, recovered and was still in contention, was then bumped and squeezed back near the eighth pole, shifted in and ran on. SOUPER DORMY was forwardly-positioned pressing outside five then four wide, dueled outside a rival three deep through the turn, faded in the stretch. HIGHLAND LIFE moved forward inside, vied inside, gave way. CALL ME SUE was bumped at the start, vied between runners was three wide past the half exchanging contact with an inside foe, began to drop back between rivals soon after, faded.
