QUIET INTENT settled off the pace inside, saved ground till near the quarter pole, angled out while being set down for the drive, came into upper stretch seven wide, struck the front just past the furlong marker, drew clear under steady handling. WAR IN CHARGE rated mid-division stalking outside two to three wide, came into upper stretch four deep, kept on between runners and got the place. KING ELVIS was forwardly-positioned but taken back ceding the lead, tracked in behind inside under rating tactics, bided time past the quarter pole, had room between in upper stretch, split foes past the furlong marker, was outkicked. SOONER LUNAR was well-placed stalking the leader two to three wide, was within striking distance coming into upper stretch, kept on but needed more. BRITISH ARTILLERY broke outwardly, was caught three to four wide on the first turn, made an early advance outside foes leaving that bend reaching mid-division, made a second move four to five deep past the five-sixteenths striking the lead at the top of the stretch, had a narrow advantage till the furlong grounds, weakened late while drifting out. ETHNIC SOUL settled at the rear inside just off the rail, came out six then eight wide in upper stretch, improved position. SILVER SMOKE was urged forward and clear, shifted in entering the first turn, set the pace inside, gave way in late stretch. TRUE SHOT was between foes three to four wide up the backstretch, came out seven then nine wide in upper stretch, failed to menace. WICO (IRE) was outside at the rear four to five wide early, swung eight deep turning for home, came in a bit, was never a threat.
