HOPE IS A BREEZE was under a good hold having a neck in front leaving the chute, cleared off setting an honest pace at the half, rolled along uncontested controlling an even tempo throughout the turn, travelled very comfortably just off the fence in command at the top of the stretch and when finally asked for more run drew away smartly increasing the winning advantage crossing the finish line for the front end score. SUNDAY FINERY flanked the frontrunner outside through the backstretch, chased between rivals being driven on for more under a busy ride at the quarter pole, posed the only threat in the three path in upper stretch and kept on fighting on determinedly to the very end unable to get to the winner who had things her own way through the race but still ran on solidly to be a very good second best. LITKAS DREAM bobbled slightly on the break, sat forwardly placed between foes in the second flight early on, was shuffled back a touch when throttled down for a few strides at the five sixteenths pole, swung out widest in the six path making a charge to be in the mix heading for home, drifted inwards briefly when switching leads in upper stretch losing a little momentum but quickly got back into gear and finished up strongly well ahead of rivals for the show award. HASTILY leapt up on the start, rushed up through the chute to be in midfield inside two others at the half mile pole, inched closer when nudged for more in midturn, skimmed the fence in with a chance for a piece of the prize turning for home but evened out in the final eighth of a mile settling only for a minor share in the end. IMSOSPICY was allowed to settle into stride outside seeing the field midway down the backside, started to pick up the bit three wide on the turn with five sixteenths remaining, shifted out four wide taking closer order at the quarter pole, angled to the five path for the drive to the wire and showed some good late interest battling outside for a small share in deep stretch. ANNASTAIJ was sluggish leaving the gate trailing into the backstretch, had the fence ahead of one runner with a half mile from home, made little impact just off the rail two wide in the turn running, shifted to the three path for the stretch drive, angled to the rail when losing its path by the sixteenth pole but lacked a rally inside late. LAIKIPIA settled three deep having close aim outside on the lead pair, moved in three wide on the turn, making a bid up front outside two others at the quarter pole, angled to the five path still in the hunt straightening out for home but could not find more late and folded between runners at the furlong marker. LOUNROBIN was roused for more between horses being part of the back trio at the four-furlong marker, could not keep up while ridden on for more setting at the rear with five sixteenths from home and had little to offer in the two path down the lane.
