LADY IONA assumed command inside at the start, comfortably dictated terms while pressured outside mildly along the backside, spurted away from the other early speed foes at the top of the lane well in control and cruised in for the frontrunning score. MOBULA tracked the pacesetter outside, took even closer order to flank the frontrunner on the outside down the backstretch, could not go with the winner midway on the far turn and chased in vain down the stretch to be a clear runner up at the wire. YORKTON ROSE broke outwards on the start, had a good spot nestled on the fence watching the lead pair on the first turn, continued to track the top duo down the backside, could not gain on the front two in the last turn while roused at the five sixteenths pole, was no match to the top two positions in the stretch running but did dig in late to save the show money inside from a late closers at the finish line. CLOUD RIDER was brushed inside on the start, settled in midfield outside another in the early stages, came under a ride in the two path dropping back between runners by the quarter pole and came back on showing late energy just off the fence to close belatedly late to just miss outside a rival for the third place share at the wire. CALL ME KAYKAY had the rail sharing the rear in the early going, stalked ahead of only one foe while on the inside down the backstretch, made a mild run shifting out four wide at the top of the stretch but evened out in the final furlong. STRAWBERRY WORLD co-trail outside going four wide into the initial bend, made little movement three deep down the backside, offered a brief run three wide outside foes with five sixteenths to go, was brushed inside travelling five wide turning for home, had little left for the drive and flattened out in upper stretch.
