Footnotes
LET'S GO LIAM hopped slightly on the break, travelled on the rail in mid-division, improved on the fence down the backside, moved in smoothly shifting out reaching for ground at the three furlong pole, seized control easily going past the leader outside with a quarter mile to run and was kept to the task through the stretch to prove much the best at the finish line. ARMINO had an outside stalking trip near the rear in the early stages, settled into a good rhythm between horses watching the embattled duo along the backside, could not match strides trying to go with the eventual winner around the far turn, kept on trying outside late and got up in deep stretch for the runners up share. RHUMBABA had the lead on the rail in the beginning, narrowly kept the advantage inside another down the back straight, opened up for a fleeting moment with five sixteenths from home, offered no resistance when the winner powered past outside at the quarter pole and was one paced on the fence down the lane to settle for a clear third at the finish line. HIGHLAND PEAK broke out on the start to trail three wide into the first turn, advanced mildly between rivals in the three path at the half, tried to circle around runners four wide at the three eighths pole, had little to offer outside in the drive but did finish up to garner a minor role in the end. WOODGLEN COURT was isolated watching the contesting pair early on, regressed three to four deep on the outside along the backstretch and could only manage to pass a very weary rival outside midway on the far turn. HAPI EKATI was bumped by the inside runner on the break, hounded the pace outside on the first turn, moved even closer to duel outside down the back straight, could not continue on up top stopping abruptly at the three-furlong pole between runners and cantered down the lane to the finish line.
