Footnotes
MEW N ME lunged into a rival at the start, settled off the pace, edged closer on the turn, angled six wide coming into upper stretch, drove to the front a sixteenth out and kept on to maintain a narrow lead to the wire. ORION BEACH stalked just off the pace, advanced four wide leaving the turn taking a narrow lead at the top of the stretch, drifted in brushing a rival, fought on. RIDEAU FALLS settled off the pace, cut the corner advancing inside foes in the stretch, kept on but was outfinished. XARABELLA was bumped at the start, advanced three wide between foes leaving the turn, was brushed and carried in a bit in the stretch, lacked the needed late kick. HIBISCUS set a pressured pace from off the rail, weakened in the stretch. BOSS LADY J was bumped hard into a rival at the start, lacked early speed, failed to threaten. EARENDEL pressed the pace, gave way. THE STEWARDS HELD AN INQUIRY INTO THE START AND THERE WAS AN OBJECTION BY THE TRAINER OF XARABELLA AGAINST ORION BEACH. THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED, BUT THE WINNER MEW N ME WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SIXTH BEHIND BOSS LADY J FOR INTERFERNCE AT THE START.
