Footnotes
POETIC AMY was allowed to settle into stride trailing in the beginning, stalked in the rail in the third tier patiently waiting for the cue to go around the bend, angled out five wide reaching for more ground getting a seam in upper stretch and powered past the leader by the sixteenth pole to smartly win going away at the wire. SAVE THE DATE had a stalking role inside runners near the rear,, could see the field by the half, lagged behind the group around the oval, shifted outside picking up the bit three wide with a quarter mile to run, swung out widest to the seven path finding its best stride late, could not get to the overpowering winner down the lane but nonetheless charged outside rivals in the final furlong to get up at the finish line to best the rest for the runners up share. MISTY EYED prompted the pace outside in the beginning, took up the fight getting her head in front slightly outside at the half, edged away from the early speed rival at the five sixteenths pole, was holding on well enough in the two path a furlong from home, offered no resistance when the winner drove past outside with a sixteenth remaining and faded late being caught nearing the wire for second money. NO VISOR had an inside trip comfortably tracking the engaged duo along the backside, took closer order three wide inside another on the turn by the quarter marker and finished evenly in the three path to garner a minor placing in the end. INDIANA ROAD was situated three deep outside close to the back of the pack, travelled outside a rival in the third tier on the bend, angled out four wide trying to make a run at the quarter pole, was floated out six wide at the top of the lane and had no finish to give in the stretch drive. TOTALLY IN CHARGE tracked in the second pairing outside another in the early stages, closed in four wide outside foes at the quarter pole to be in with a chance for a piece of the prize between foes turning for home but failed to menace in the late running lacking a rally in the final eighth of a mile. SILENT SUNSHINE had a narrow advantage inside early on, dueled on the fence bobbing heads down the backstretch up front, gave way unable to continue on up top at the midpoint through the turn and nothing had left to offer folding on the rail by the furlong pole.
