IMPERIAL GOLD was away alertly getting to the rail exiting the chute, opened up slightly still well in hand at the half, set an even tempo uncontested around the bend and drew off with authority when set down at the furlong pole dominating the field at the finish line. SOUPER ICONIC drafted behind the pacesetter sitting a few lengths back on the rail, edged up inside foes through the turn, shifted out two wide at the quarter pole, could not quicken with the winner by mid-stretch and just lasted inside from the two late charging rivals at the wire for the place share. DIVA'S GHOST had a stalking role ahead of only one runner in the early going, made a sharp move closing the gap saving ground on the turn by the quarter pole, shifted out three wide straightening out for home and had good late energy between foes almost getting up in a tight three way photo for the place share. AWE INSPIRED stalked inside another early on, was checked briefly midway down the backside behind horses, edged up inside foes in midturn,, shifted out five to six wide at the top of the stretch and rallied smartly outside rivals down the lane, surging at the wire just missing in a close picture for second money. BENLION was void of early foot trailing in the beginning, could see the field two wide still in range around the bend, made a sharp move scraping paint in upper stretch and finished up gradually inside horses in the final furlong. A LA CARTE tracked the front two outside down the backstretch, chased the winner three wide around the oval, drifted out four wide in upper stretch but lacked a rally between rivals in the late running. POWAQA stalked on the outside travelling four deep down the backstretch, regressed three wide outside foes midway on the turn, swung out widest in the seven path turning for home and passed a couple of tired rivals through the lane. HOLYMOLYMEOHMY settled in mid-division with rivals on either side down the backstretch, held her own under a ride keeping pace between foes around the bend, was taken hold off, checking mildly losing her path five, six wide in upper stretch and could not recoup showing little running in the late stages. MIAH SAID sat off the frontrunner applying mild pressure outside along the backstretch, was roused for more midturn but was unable to maintain position between foes with a quarter mile to go while go chasing the pacesetter and emptied out three wide by upper stretch.
