Footnotes
GIMME A NOTHER (SAF) rated kindly having a nice set-up under a snug hold watching the front two runners while nestled on the fence throughout in the early running, had the two path at the quarter pole sitting right behind the pacesetter deciding which lane to take, shifted outside to the three-path getting a seam starting to rally between runners leaving the three sixteenths pole, under a well-timed moved seized control by the furlong pole and determinedly fought on inside rivals just lasting at the finish line from the late charging outside runners in a blanket finish. SEE THE FIRE (GB) hesitated then veered out on the break, settled close to the back outside foes in the early stages, reached for more being let loose three wide with five sixteenths from the wire, was floated out by the inside rival to be widest in the eight path at the top of the lane and had a quick late turn of foot rushing home outside rivals surging in deep stretch winning the place share by a nose while just missing getting to the winner in the end. JANCIS (IRE) had the rail position near the rear, inched up on the far turn looking for running room beginning to lengthen stride, angled out sharply to the seven path for clear run, closed in steadily down the stretch and had a strong late charge but came up just shy when on the wrong end of a tight three way finish for the win at the wire. VENETIAN LACE (IRE) was forwardly positioned tracking the pacesetter on the outside. closed the gap two wide sitting just off the flank of the leader on the far turn, dueled outside head to head three wide at the quarter pole, briefly gained the advantage having a neck in front at the three sixteenths marker, relinquished to top spot by the eighth pole, stubbornly tried to counter between foes with a sixteenth still to run but faded ever so slightly just getting outkicked coming to the wire settling on a minor placing only in a thrilling finish. DIAMOND RAIN (GB) settled in midfield having runners on both sides, made little progression along the back straight, was driven between rivals making a move two wide at the five sixteenths marker, bid for the lead in the four path in upper stretch but could not sustain the rally and stalled between horses at the sixteenth pole. SULTANA broke outwards on the start, was allowed to settle into a rhythm seeing the field down the backstretch, galloped along still at the rear two wide well within striking distance on the final bend, shifted to the three path behind a wall of runners turning for home but could not get into contention only passing a couple of weary runners at the furlong marker. SOMETHINABOUTHER travelled three deep in mid-division, pulled the rider closer improving at the three-quarter marker, waited three wide behind foes at the five sixteenths marker looking for a seam, angled out to the five-path having a clear lane but lacked a rally in the late stretch drive. ACHIEVE buckled then was bumped by the inside rival leaving the gate, was eager fighting the rider tossing her head setting a pedestrian pace in the early going, started to somewhat relax while unchallenged on the front end midway along the backside, continued up top having a narrow advantage inside a rival through the running on the final turn, had the two path clinging inside of horses at the top of the lane but could not find more in the late going tiring inside of runners at the furlong marker.
