Footnotes
FILM ACADEMY settled in midfield on the inside, ranged up outside in the two path by the half mile pole, moved in quickly three wide midway on the final turn, opened up at the furlong pole and held sway at the finish line. WAR LEGEND travelled two wide sitting in midfield on the first of two turns, sat isolated still in the middle of the pack with half still to go, glided around horse making a rally three wide at the five sixteenths pole, loomed the main threat four wide in upper stretch but was no match for the winner who had more in the late going and held on at the wire besting the rest for second money. FUN FELLA had only one runner beaten in the beginning, continued near the rear with the tempo very fast down the back straight, could not make any headway on the far turn, shifted out to the five-path turning for home and found hid best stride late closing smartly, late to capture the show money. KING RONIN was close to the back end going three wide around the initial turn, made little progression down the backstretch, started to come with a run three wide at the quarter pole around foes, angled to the five path in with a chance for a share in upper stretch and ran on mildly in the last eighth of a mile to be a fringe player in the end. TURBO CHARGED was void of early foot trailing on the first turn, lagged well behind the group down the backside, closed in sharply on the pack by the quarter pole and showed late interest passing some runners in the stretch drive. ARYEH pressed the pace on the outside in the beginning, continued to hound the lively pace outside down the backstretch, took over control for a fleeting moment two wide at the five sixteenths pole, had no answer inside when the winner swept past with a quarter mile from home and faded inside runners in the final furlong. MR. PERFECT had a good spot all alone watching the contesting duo in the beginning, had the inside in the second flight sitting not hat far off the brisk pace set by the lead pair at the three eights pole,, shifted two wide off the leg weary early leader at the quarter pole and lacked a rally through the stretch drive. TEMPLE HALL veered in sharply on the break, had a slim lead inside heading into the first turn, had a narrow lead down the backside setting a very rapid pace, surrendered the front end on the rail midway around the far turn, retreated steadily by the quarter pole and ran out of gas folding in the two path in upper stretch.
