Footnotes
GOOD AS GONE assumed command on the rail going at a snail's pace around the first turn, comfortably moved along up top down the backside, rambled on still unasked in control of things through the final bend and under a well rated frontrunning ride had just enough left in the tank to last inside at the wire in a tight finish. REGAL MOMENT shifted out from the rail to the two path when going into the first turn tracking the leader, sat behind the frontrunner rating kindly on the rail down the backside, was poised taking the short way around the turn, pounced three wide in upper stretch and battled through the entire stretch, gaining with every stride in the late running but was just denied outside at the wire. NEENAH was hard held seeing the field in the beginning, advanced three wide outside foes on the first turn, made little movement three deep outside others down the back straight, was relegated to last three wide entering the last turn, made a sharp move circling three wide at the five sixteenths pole, swung widest in the six path at the top of the lane and finished with energy but was a distant third in the end. JUST MAGNIFICENT was bumped inside tracking the leader forced to go four wide on the first turn, settled in midfield isolated along the backside, rallied when scrubbed for more three wide with a quarter mile remaining picking up the bit to be in the hunt five wide at the top of the stretch, stalled by the furlong pole and settled for a minor role between runners in the end. LADY IZZY broke out on the start, was in tight jostled between rivals three wide in the first turn, hounded the pacesetter down the backstretch, chased through the far turn making no gain and yielded in the three path between horses straightening out for the drive. MAXINE MAGIC stalked outside rivals near the back, trailed the group by the half mile marker, continued at the rear unable to get into gear around the last bend, shifted out five wide turning for home and could only pass a weary foe outside in upper stretch. TABEI was brushed inside on the break, had the rail in midfield in the early going, settled inside runners close to the back of the pack down the backstretch, made no advancement when roused inside horses through the far turn and had no finish to offer on the fence in the stretch drive.
