ARGOS was keen to go on inside but faced traffic racing in tight behind rivals past the wire the first turn, steadied slightly on heels near the six- and one-half marker, settled down mid-pack once less crowded, began to advance saving ground through the far turn, angled out seven wide in upper stretch, struck the lead past the sixteenth pole, just held a rival late. WILD DESERT (IRE) was carried out five to six wide entering the first turn by drifting foes, came back in settling toward the rear outside three to four wide, was encouraged nearing the quarter pole, swung nine deep for the drive, made a steady bid in late stretch but couldn't get past and was second best. TWO OUT HERO came in early gaining forward position moving to the rail and placing runners in tight, subsequently exchanged a bump with one of those runners at the six- and one-half, tracked in behind inside, saved ground till upper stretch, angled out four wide, bid past mid-stretch taking a brief lead but lacked the needed finishing kick. TEDDY'S ROCKET settled and tucked in then was bumped outward entering the first turn four wide, settled in behind runners three to four deep, came out eight wide for the stretch, kept on but just missed show honors. THESECRETADVERSARY (IRE) altered out when in tight about the six- and one-half bumping a rival in the process, settled two to three wide just behind mid-division, steadied on heels coming to the quarter pole altering in to the rail at that juncture cutting the corner, navigated traffic in the stretch coming back out two to three wide to rally between foes but was not enough. CASSON crowded a rival at the start then came in and clipped heels behind, moved forward outside, pressed the leader, took over at the top of the stretch, weakened when headed past mid-stretch. BILL OF ICE bobbled slightly at the start then was bumped and crowded just after, clipping heels in the process and nearly stumbling to the ground, recovered and settled well back at the rear, came out four to five wide turning for home, rallied mildly between foes. RUDE PROCEDURE was placed in tight quarters exchanging minor contact early then again between runners about the six- and one-half altering out a bit into the first turn three to four wide, came back in stalking outside about three wide, advanced some on the far turn and was within range coming to the top of the stretch, was floated out a bit, weakened in the lane. TIMEFRAME was carried in early bumping a rival lightly then was bumped about the six- and one-half steadying and altering out about six wide entering the first turn, came back in soon after stalking three to four wide outside foes mid-pack, continued to pursue from outside, dropped back and faded. MARCUS J moved to the lead and clear shifting in three then two wide into the first turn, set the pace from off the rail, faltered and faded. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
