Footnotes
DAFINA broke outwards brushing a rival on the start, kept a close eye on the lead duo while between horses at the half, started to pick up the bit two wide when called upon for more at the quarter pole, angled out posing a menacing presence in the four path at the top of the lane and steadily grinded away outside through the stretch pulling away late in the final seventy yards for the win. OLIVIA'S MELODY had the rail position ahead of only the troubled starter along the back straight, crept up taking the shortest way around the turn narrowing the margin with a quarter mile remaining, skimmed the fence threatening the corner, continued to rally on the rail battling for the top spot with a furlong to go but was slightly outkicked by the winner outside in deep stretch. RELOAD BABA had a head in front on the rail in the early stages, edged clear by the half, set an even tempo on the rail through the turn, had company coming on outside at the quarter marker, was just holding on in the two path with runners closing in on both sides at the furlong pole, had no answer between the late running rivals by the sixteenth pole but still finished up strong enough easily besting the rest for the show money at the wire. HOT LIST (GB) settled on the outside of horses three deep in the middle of the pack early on, continued an outside journey going three wide around the turn just holding onto position, swung out widest to the five path for the stretch drive and ran on mildly never threatening the top three foes while just lasting outside for a minor placing. HOPE SHE FIRES was steadied between runners losing all action to be a long last down the backstretch, remained well back of the group around the bend, shifted to the three path for the stretch drive, closed in on runners showing late interest down tge lane but still could only manage to pass one rival when crossing the finish line. HENNA GAL prompted the pace outside in the beginning, chased the frontrunner who was edging away at the half, moved in two wide through the turn to re-engage outside for the lead at the quarter pole, had the three path between horses still battling in the mix up top in upper stretch but could not find more late and folded between rivals in the final sixteenth of a mile.
