MAGIC POWER rated kindly nestled on the rail watching the contesting leaders along the backside, began to reel in the front pair shifting out at the quarter pole, remained in hand posing the main opposition gliding up closer in the three path straightening out for home between foes and under a patient ride, drew away when asked for run at the sixteenth pole to win convincingly when crossing the finish line. BENNYS JETS bobbled on the break, nodded heads arguing inside another in the early stages setting a brisk pace, disposed of the outside early speed rival in upper stretch, was collared outside coming up to the sixteenth pole, offered no resistance to the stablemate who drove by in deep stretch but still ran on well enough to be second best. MY BOY BRUCE was unhurried trailing the pack at the half mile marker, made no improvement taking the short way around the bend, closed the gap smartly scraping paint turning for home and showed a good late charge in the final furlong to get up just before the wire capture the show award. YODDHA tracked the engaged twosome on the outside down the back straight and throughout the bend, narrowed the margin four wide outside rivals at the top of the stretch very much in the thick of things, could not sustain the rally by the eighth pole and finished up evenly to be a fringe player in the end. WILDFIRE broke slowly veering out as well on the start, was roused down the backside to be outside stalking horses by the half, made little impression off the fence while urged along through the turn, shifted out three wide initially at the top of the stretch, could not get involved going five wide at the furlong pole but did pass a weary foe outside in the late running. COME ON BIG LOU was away alertly dueling outside down the backstretch, continued to not waver fighting it out up top through the turn, could not quicken with others making a rally while in the two path between horses in upper stretch and faltered by the sixteenth pole.
