TOSSING moved smoothly in hand pressing the pace outside down the backstretch as well as through the turn, pounced sharply four wide in upper stretch, opened up with ease with just the shake of the rider's hands by the three sixteenths pole, was tapped once on the shoulder just to stay focused and proved much the best winning easily at the wire. POETIC DAWN hopped up just a touch on the start, travelled on the rail in mid-division down the backstretch, kept pace saving all the ground around the bend, had the three path bursting between runners in upper stretch, continued to close inside at the furlong pole and switched leads very late to best the rest at the finish line for the runners up share well behind the dominant winner. FURY'S FLIGHT travelled three deep in the second flight, stayed in close range of the lead twosome going three wide around the oval, moved out to the seven path in the hunt outside of runners straightening out for home, kept plugging away down the stretch and ran on mildly capturing the third place share outside at the finish line. SUGAR BUNNY had a good spot with rivals on each side tracking the lead pair, ran on evenly still keeping a close on the front duo through the turn, angled to the four path in the mix for a share at the head of the lane, dueled between foes at the furlong pole with the winner well ahead by then but was outkicked in deep stretch settling on the fringes in the end. BAD PENNY missed the break to be a joint last outside with the other slow starter, continued to be at the tail end outside on the turn, opted to go widest in the eight path turning for home and under steady left handed asking finished up with some late interest. FLYING SCHULZY had the outside sitting in the middle of the pack, made little advancement around the turn, shifted to the five path for the drive to the finish line but continued to run one paced through-out unable to get into contention down the stretch. DOUBLE OR NOTHING had a slow start sharing the rear inside another down the back straightaway, made little progression through the turn, skimmed the fence narrowing the margin at the quarter pole, shifted out off rivals in the four path in mid-stretch and managed to pass a few tiring runners through the lane. BORIKA (IRE) broke outwards at the start filling the void left from the slow beginner, had a slim lead inside down the backstretch, continued up top setting an even tempo on the fence with the eventual winner hound the pace outside in the turn running, offered no resistance when the winner sauntered past outside in upper stretch and yielded to others while on the rail in the final sixteenth of a mile. GEORGIAN BAY settled close to the back end just off the rail ahead of only the slow starters down the backside, tried to make a rally circling four wide a round foes at the three eighths pole, shifted out further to the seven path at the top of the stretch but had no run lacking a rally through the lane. BEAUTIFUL THINGS had the rail position watching the engaged twosome, scraped paint having a chance for a piece of the prize turning for home but could not find more in the stretch running and faltered on the fence by the three-sixteenths marker.
